Peru Mission

Peru Mission

The purpose of this mission is to support Sunday school classes and the building of a complete church in the village of Paccha, an indigenous community high in the Andes.

The mission started through KUMC, and the first Sunday school class in Paccha was held on September 23, 2007.  We are supporting a class of about 90 children by sending money for supplies and teachers.  We have held many activities over the years to raise the money to build the Sunday school, now finished and to construct a sanctuary, currently underway.  Other churches in the U.S. and Peru have helped by raising money and providing labor.  The church is named Roca Fuerte (Keystone). A mission team went to Paccha in 2010 and another trip in 2014.  For more information, please contact Marleni Chiappini.
